Message It just seems too risky to dabble in HP gains by eliminating it. Almost like the idea of eliminating the PCV system to gain 12HP. Not that it would, but as an analogy. The tradeoff is additional wear for HP. There is the same effect when raising the boost, but the thing one has to keep in mind is that raising the boost just puts more of a load of the same kind on the same parts to make more power. Eliminating the TVD introduces stress to the components in ways it doesn't normally experience. That's the part that twists me up. Its like burning the candle from both ends vs. just burning one end a little faster (but less than the rate of both ends burning.
